He or She must be an active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.

He or She must have practiced law for a minimum of five years.

He or She must pass a written examination in the specialty area.

He or She must demonstrate substantial experience in the specialty area.

He or She must complete approved continuing legal education programs.

He or She must have the ability and experience in the specialty field favorably evaluated by judges and other lawyers.
